Translation – Explanation and Caution

The electronic translation service on Surrey Libraries' website is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation may vary in some of the languages offered by Google. The goal of the basic translation is to capture the general intention of the original English material.

Surrey Libraries cannot guarantee the quality, accuracy, or completeness of any translated information.  Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you and the decisions you make.

The City of Surrey offers interpretation services at all its facilities. If you have a question about the material you read on the Surrey Libraries website, we encourage you to contact Surrey Libraries to discuss it.  You can also contact the City of Surrey at 604-591-4011 to receive interpretation support.

Parking Options:

  • Free parking is moving — City Centre Library has been privileged to borrow the gravel parking lot on University Drive as free parking space over the last few years. This location will be permanently closed on July 31, 2016. Find new free parking: (Map) Free 3hr Parking
  • Paid parking available beneath new city hall plaza — $1.50 per hour
  • Paid parking with direct access to the library from P1


The Surrey Central Station is just a few minutes walk from the City Centre Library, and serves many bus connections plus SkyTrain. Please see TransLink's Trip Planner for help planning your trip and the map for details of the different bus routes serving the station.

Cycling & Bike Parking:
There is a public bike rack outside the library on University Drive.
