National Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th is a day to learn about the residential school system in Canada. It is also an opportunity to reflect about the experiences of survivors. These booklists have titles about reconciliation and Indigenous experiences throughout history in Canada.
You can also join us as we share in the collective reading of the 94 Calls to Action. The Truth & Reconciliation Commission made 94 calls to action to aid healing from the residential school system. They aim to acknowledge the full horrifying history, and create systems to prevent further abuse. Attend the circle as we read the calls and reflect.
