The Surrey Libraries Canadian Family History Collection is housed at the Cloverdale Library. The Family History department includes five microfilm/fiche reader/printers, a photocopier, four dedicated computers with Ancestry Library Edition, HeritageQuest, FindMyPastWorld, Points to the Past, and Scotland Places (additionally one station has the Ship & Seafarers of Atlantic Canada database), and a general use meeting room for Family History programs.

Document Delivery Services

The Family History department offers a limited look up service. Staff will locate specific records on microfilm, in print or family history databases if adequate information is provided and extensive research is not involved. Records can be delivered either by email in PDF format, by fax, or by regular mail for a fee of $5.00 per item. Postal or fax charges will apply. Call us at 604-598-7328, or email familyhistory@surrey.ca for more information.
