Make Something: Teen Chapbook Workshop

Tue Jul 10 | 11:00 am - | Cloverdale Library

This program is for teens ages 13-18 years.

Chapbook-making offers a unique creative experience. Teens will  cut, fold, and collage words and images. Guided by Surrey’s Poet Laureate, Renée Sarojini Saklikar, and other local poets, teens will be inspired with new ways of self-expression. Their works will be displayed in the teen lounge  in October 2018.

These workshops are made possible by the City of Surrey Cultural Grants program. Thanks also go to local Surrey poets including: Winston Le, Christine Riek, Heidi Greco, and members of the Cedar Bark poetry community.

Part of Teen Summer Adventure.
