Outdoor Playing Safe with Pets

Tue Aug 9 | 2:00 pm - | Ocean Park Branch

This program is for children ages 5 and up.

Why do animals bite? Join the BC SPCA to learn how to recognize when it is safe or unsafe to pet a dog. We will have fun games and activities to teach you how to meet a new dog for the first time. You will learn how to understand dogs and recognize a dog’s body language.

Please dress for the weather.

We will cancel this program if there is extreme weather. We will contact you if we cancel it.

What to expect at this program:

  • Stay home if you or your children are sick or have flu-like symptoms
  • Follow health orders/recommendations for wearing masks
  • Respect the personal space of other families and staff
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before the program
