Come celebrate Family Literacy Day!
We are excited to honour Family Literacy Day with our annual Surrey Kids Read event taking place on Saturday, January 20, 11 – 2 pm at Guildford Town Centre’s Centre Court.
Family Literacy Day is a national initiative involving annual events held on or around January 27 to raise awareness of the importance of families reading together and engaging in other literacy-related activities.
There will be a full lineup of children's entertainers at the Guildford Town Centre and the first 200 families will receive a free copy of the book, "The Reading Tree." While there make sure to pick up a colouring sheet which you can return finished to any Surrey Library for a free New Kids Walter & Jazzy book bag!
