Join us for an all ages behind the scenes look at Cantonese Opera, celebrating Asian Heritage Month.
Learn about the costumes, the makeup, the hair, and all of the preparation needed for a Chinese Opera. Audiences will then get to enjoy a short live performance in the library!
The event will feature:
- Cantonese Opera signature makeup demonstration
- Cantonese Opera Behind the Scenes presentation
- Live performance demonstrating technique
In partnership with the Vancouver Cantonese Opera.
