Need Help Filing Your Personal Tax Return?
A volunteer from DIVERSEcity, trained by the Canada Revenue Agency, will help prepare & electronically file (if eligible) your tax return.
Who can attend these free clinics?
- Residents of Canada for tax purposes (living in Surrey, Langley, Delta and White Rock) with a modest family income of $35,000 for one person, to $52,500 for more than five people.
- Investment income less than $1,000.
- No business or rental income, self-employment income, capital gains or losses, bankruptcy or deceased person filings.
What do I need to bring?
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social insurance number
- Notice of assessment from previous year if applicable
- Any medical and disability receipts
- Any forms that apply: T4, T4A, T5, T5007, T4E, T4A(P), T4A(OAS), T4RSP, T2202A and T220
- Coins for printing (20 cents a page)
- Interpreter (if possible)
Refunds are often received within 15 days.
