1. Call to Order & Land Acknowledgement

Surrey Libraries recognizes that our work takes place on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territories of the SEMYOME (Semiahmoo),  q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), qiqéyt (Qayqayt), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) and sc̓əwaθən məsteyəxʷ (Tsawwassen) First Nations.

  1. Nominee Statements for Election of Chair and Vice-Chair
    1. Chair: 0 candidates 
    2. Vice-Chair: 1 candidate, Balbir Gurm. Declared elected by acclamation 
  2. Expressions of interest for InterLINK Board representative

  3. Current Standing Committee members; expressions of interest for new members 

    Board Chair will appoint committee chairs and finalize committee memberships via email before the February meeting. 

5. Adoption of Consent Agenda

Trustees may adopt in one motion all items appearing in the Consent agenda or, prior to the vote, request an item be removed from the Consent agenda for discussion, voting in opposition to a recommendation, or declaring a conflict of interest.

  1. Approval of Minutes of December 7, 2023, Regular Meeting

  2. Financial Statement for the period ending November 30, 2023* 

    *Financial statements for January 2024 with unaudited 2023 figures will be available at the February 2024 meeting. Audited year-end financial statements will be available at the April 2024 meeting.
