Join us for an information session from Fraser Health. Learn about health and community resources for older adults. There will be time for questions at the end. 

Part of the City of Surrey's Seniors' Week.

Speakers:

Shannon Parsons

Shannon Parsons is a Registered Nurse, working as a Fraser Health regional Clinical Resource Nurse for Home and Community Care services. Shannon is also the lead for social prescribing. Shannon has worked in the Fraser Health community for 30 years and her focus has been to support frail older adults to remain at home safely and improve their quality of life by connecting them to supports and services.

Margaret Lin

Margaret Lin is the regional project leader at Fraser Health Authority with Registered Nurse background. She leads regional projects that aim to support older adults’ health proactively, such as the Frailty Pathway and Social Prescribing. She collaborates closely with partners in health authorities, community organizations, and universities to co-design these new care approaches. In addition, Margaret is a PhD Nursing student at the University of British Columbia researching integrated care models that support healthy aging.
