Visit a Little Free Library near you!

One of Surrey Libraries goals is to expand opportunities for social engagement. With support from the Vancouver Foundation, Surrey Libraries partnered with community agencies to bring Little Free Libraries to you.

Little Free Libraries promote literacy, love of reading and help build a sense of community. Based on a "take a book, leave a book" concept, Little Free Libraries are popping up all over the world.

Check out a Little Free Library at these locations:

  1. Bridgeview Centre
  2. Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre
  3. Lookout Society
  4. Surrey Food Bank
  5. Surrey Urban Mission's Community Garden
  6. Boundary Park with Village Surrey Transition Initiative

Surrey Libraries has completed its Little Free Library projects but it is easy to set up a Little Free Library of your own, especially if you are installing it on your personal property. Get some neighbours together and have some fun. See the  Little Free Libraries website for more information.

Little Free Library philosophy:
You return and bring books to contribute.
Little Free Library books are always a gift and never for sale!
