Brella Day Program for Older Adults

Therapeutic recreation programs customized to meets the needs of clients, including lunch, personal care, health monitoring, meeting new friends and lots of laughter.

Coquitlam Men’s Shed
Non-profit society that provides space for men to work on projects and build new friendships. Has a variety of tools, and gives you the chance to share your skills and learn new ones. There are a number of other Men's Shed in the Lower Mainland.

PICS Senior Adult Day Program

For South Asian Seniors living at home and being cared for by their loved ones. Includes recreation, and socialization opportunities, meals and refreshments, health services and personal care.

Seniors Lounges @ Surrey Recreation Centres
There are Senior’s Drop-in Centres at four of Surrey’s recreation centre’s. Offer social drop-in, activities and outings for ages 55+ years and older.  Membership is $25 per year. The Fleetwood and South Surrey Recreation Centre’s also offer a wide range of programming.

Surrey Trekkers Volksport Club
Friendly walking club where everyone is welcome. The walks are generally 5 km and 10 km through parks and interesting neighbourhoods. With a diversity of members, conversations while walking are wide and varied. The annual membership is $15.  First 5 walks are free try out the group.

TALK (Third Age Learning at Kwantlen)

Creative and stimulating educational activities for adults over 50. No quizzes, grades or prerequisites. Anyone over 50 years of age can join. All you need is a membership (annual cost of $10.00) and you can register for TALK's courses.

White Rock & South Surrey Newcomers Club
Social group for women of all ages new to the area, or who have experienced significant life changes like retirement, divorce or the death of a partner. Have weekly coffee meetups and a monthly themed general meeting. $40 annual membership.
